HOUSE & LAND FOR SALE, KAMPOS (PSINIA)
This is just about the sweetest thing I’ve seen. It’s a very old, traditional farmer’s house with a significant piece of land. The house is divided into two. The larger portion has a mezzanine floor. The other part of the building would have been used as the kitchen. Rebuild and renovate the old stone house, modernise it and hey presto, you’ll have a home with exceptional views and a simply wonderful plot of land.
You would need to build on the footprint of the property but it’s possible to build a loft. It’s also possible to dig down thus creating an extended space. The wall between the two rooms can be easily knocked through thus making this an open-plan set-up.
The biggest cherry on the cake here is the stunning portion of land that this quaint little house sits on. It is simply magical and bursting with life. It slopes very gently down to meet the river bed at the foot of the land. From the upper part of the land there are some simply spectacular views, breathtaking. Olives, figs, oak, spring flowers….I also spotted
a tortoise when I was there. There’s something very special about this land.
There’s a calm tranquillity to this lush plot and if you’d like a little slice of heaven, look no further. Immersed in nature yet ‘civilisation’ is close at hand. You can produce your own oil, dry your own figs, fix solar panels and live the good life.
This would be perfect for a permanent residential home however, kampos houses are much sought after for long-term rent, great letting potential.
Electricity and water are easy to connect. The track to the house is good although there’s no current vehicular access to the land, this could be very easily remedied.
