HOUSE & LAND FOR SALE, KAMPOS
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. I’ll be shot for saying this but it’s probably the prettiest piece of land I’ve ever seen in Kampos. It was a perfect autumnal day when I visited and I just wanted to warm myself in the Grecian sunshine, admire the awe-inspiring views and listen to nature. Valley dogs barked in the distance, birds swooped and chirped around me as salamanders scuttled to hide away from this unwanted visitor. If you wish to immerse yourself in nature and sustainable living, look no further. This is the perfect spot for a smallholding, off-grid living and a truly peaceful life in the countryside.
The land is large meaning there’s potential to extend the footprint of the current building (with permission.) Water and electricity supplies run parallel to the plot so connectivity is straightforward although exploring the solar route could be very advantageous. The stone house is derelict but nonetheless oozes charm, character and promise. A good builder will advise you of your options of which there will be many. You will need a decent amount of cash for this project but what you’ll have at the end of it will be priceless. I know this is someone’s paradise!
Details: The land offers 360 degrees view. It has been well tended and nurtured. There’s an extensive olive-grove with decent earning potential. Also fig, almond and oak trees are dotted across the land. It benefits hugely from a solid chain link fence, this will have been very expensive to erect and now ensures the land is secure. No escapees!
House: It sits slightly raised with quite simply jaw-dropping views. Traditional stone house with a mezzanine level it requires complete renovation and services…how exciting! There’s a stone oven to the side of the house which I for one would keep.
